Venezuela Diet

As are your words yours only. The video made a joke about a diet and you did the same. Why you are unable to own it is your problem. You did make a joke about starvation being a "foolproof way to lose weight." I don't think it is clever or funny. Your dishonesty on this is unnecessary and unbecoming but par for the course. Take a long look at the mirror and think about what you posted. The video did make an anti communist comment which I already said that i agree with (you conveniently are ignoring this in order to defend your tasteless joke.)

No, you are the one who is illogical and pointless. I made no jokes. I merely linked an anti-socialistic video that pointed out that socialism starves people automatically and systematically. The speaker in the video is a communist dissident. You need to make sure that you are not a Maduro fan. You are the only one who saw a joke or something funny. Are you a college professor?

I think CMG absolutely "owns" the OP. Humor has long and effectively been used to highlight gross injustice and/or stupidity, and I see the OP (plus comment) intended to do just that. Posts like the above portray CMG's motives as being wholly reprehensible. Since none of us can read minds, each knows their own motives better than I do.

He doesn't own it at any point ever in this thread. Full stop.

The "here" I was referencing was The United States. Here in the USA.
I know you are new here, but "here" is not the United States - it is the internet, which is worldwide. We have members from all over the world.

While you and I may be in the United States, we need to remember that when we say "here," it is likely to be interpreted as this forum since that's the only way the reference makes sense.

The video is from a communist dissident. Starvation is a government weapon in communist/socialistic states.

We know. Starvation is not funny no matter who/what is espousing it.

Hey! Ya wanna lose 10 lbs. of ugly fat?
Chop off your head!

(But it was a video by an anti-ISIS group!)

The left does not want to talk about Venezuela. They endorsed Chavez and they think that socialism works. A Miami newspaper reported that the Castroids who run Venezuela were discussing using snipers to take out Venezuelan demonstrators. As one dissident noted, what the real news is that they were fearful because sometime they might be tried for crimes against humanity, or war crimes.

I never presented the video as humor or a joke or something that was funny. That was not even the point of the video, which was by a communist dissident who notes that communist/socialism uses starvation as government policy.

Even Peronist Pope Francis (Papa Che) no longer wants to talk about Venezuela.

You failed.

No, my lead-in, which you care to discuss instead of the collapse of socialistic Venezuela and the criminal government there, was a direct paraphrase of the video, which you should watch if you have not. You are like Sean Penn and Michael Moore and Bernie Sanders and Papa Che who don't want to talk about Maduro's deliberate policy.
