Verse format VS 2 Column

Which do you prefer? Most of my Bibles are 2 column and I guess I'm so used to that. I just purchased a verse format NASB and it just doesn't look right to me. Know what I mean?

I know what you mean. I prefer the 2 column format.
I really dislike the format that is 'verse format' but with
the verse numbers removed. Let us call that the
Paragraph format.

Even better, have each of the two columns on a page be
different translations. In fact, I've got a four barrelled canon :)

Please pardon my dry humor.
The link directed you to a scan of Codex Sinaiticus (fourth century) whose pages measure 15"x14".
It has 4 columns per page; 48 lines per column and about 12-16 letters per line.

(For those on "dial-up", the link really isn't worth the time).

BTW, Codex Vaticanus (first half of the fourth century) has pages which measure about 27 x 27 cm. and has an unusual three columns per page.

P66 (P. Bodmer II) (middle second century) 14.2 cm x 16.2 cm, uses a single column with 15–25 lines per page.

What do I like? Single column, large font, but better yet I study off the computer where I can increase the size to 150% of original :thumbs:
