Was Quentin Tarantino right with rant against cops?

Even his Taratino's father says Quentin should walk back his comment against the police. However, Taratino believes he is the victim, for simply exercising his right to free speech. I believe, he had the right to say what he did at a Black Lives Matter rally .... HOWEVER, those who have spoke up against his rant also have the right to speak against his comments and to "boycott" his films!

What do you think about this media dust up?

Another example of the 24/7/365 news media needing something to write about. Imagine 20 years ago--75% of the stuff on "the news" wouldn't make it back then. This Tarantino thing is definitely not news worthy.
