Good grief man! You are older than dirt and caught the flu only twice? Well, I have 5 years on you and have had the flu a few times, maybe a half dozen. The last time I had it came a couple weeks after I had the flu shot. When I was in the Coast Guard, the flu shot was required. Anyone who didn't get it would be denied leave, promotions, or reenlistment. They really had us over a barrel.I have never had the flu shot and only had the flu twice in my life, and I am 61

Getting a severe sun burn was frowned upon, especially if it hampered your ability to perform your job. Deliberately injuring yourself was a punishable offense called malingering. My dad was in the air force and said that he was a guinea pig several times for flu shots. A G.I. volunteer, you there will take this. He said he got sick afterwards several times.
The military he would say, basically owns you. He got in trouble once for getting sunburned, mistreating government property.
If 99.5% recover, maybe the government should look at turning the situation over to the general practitioners and walking away. The FDA could make HCQ an over the counter medicine.
