After weeks of getting nowhere with Schiff and Co. when it comes to being given full access to impeachment inquiry documents and transcripts from the secretive hearings and witness testimonies, dozens of House Republicans finally organized as a group this week to stop talking and start taking action.

They organized a sit-in Wednesday (complete with lunch served) in the SCIF where the witnesses have been questioned, but ultimately did not get what they wanted from Schiff.

Another Republican who took action but in a different way yesterday was Rep. Dan Crenshaw (TX), who tweeted out a video talking about the rules Schiff has made up regarding how this inquiry will be conducted. Here’s how he started out:

Pelosi changed them in Jan of this year

Republicans are not being barred from the hearings. Only Republicans on relevant committees are allowed access in accordance with the law written and passed by Republicans under Boehner. The same law Trey Gowdy invoked to keep people out of the Benghazi hearings.

There's 45 Republicans involved in the hearings. That's nearly half of the total 103 members involved.

13 of the idiots involved in the SCIF stunt, screaming about not having access, have access and have been questioning witnesses from the start.

The fake outrage delegation are actively lying about all of this in order to delegitimize the legal and constitutional power of the House to investigate and impeach.

This is not typical meetings. This is impeachment. Not the same thing. Why have Pelosi and company not allowed a vote for a formal impeachment hearing? Because they are giving the 40 dems in districts that Trump won cover.

Sigh....just like a lib to only tell a portion of the story and act like its the whole. What they do not have access to is the transcripts unless they are accompanied by shiftys people to watch them so they cant make copies. Further, 13 supporting the rest is not unusual. According to precedence of the last 3 impeachment hearings everyone was let in.

This isn’t a meeting. It’s a deposition. It’s secure. Why doesn’t who have access to the transcripts? People not on the requisite committee? Same reason.

You said it’s an impeachment but then say why haven’t they voted. Answer: because this is still just an inquiry.

The precedence of the last three impeachment’s is not the same. Boehner changed the rules.

If you even knew what a SCIF was you should be demanding the revocation of security clearances. Rules don’t apply to politicians though.

Sorry, this "impeachment inquiry" looks as shady as possible. People think the House's role in an impeachment is just like a regular grand jury's - nope, in a grand jury indictment, the prosecutor calls a panel of a dozen or so citizens, presents the government's evidence only, then the grand jury indicts or not with a simple majority.

None of this should be taking place in the Intelligence Committee. And it does not resemble a "Grand Jury" at all.

Furthermore, none of the testimony to date has been classified and should not be taking place in the SCIF room.

Since it's not classified, it should be available for any member of the House to read at any time without a "minder".

Schiff is a liar and a leaker and will pay for all of this down the line. He is as big a lowlife as I have ever seen in Congress.
