To start off I just want to share a pic from a local (to me) rescue for older dogs. This was from yesterday when we were experiencing a high wind warning. The pups were ready to resume their comfy spots on couches, dog beds, & by the fireplace. Older dogs are the best! They are harder to adopt because no one wants to go through losing a pet, but they so deserve it.

Ukraine tells Elon Musk to ‘go fly a kite’ but not in those words, for suggesting peace negotiations need to happen. Next day Elon says Starlink can no longer afford to provide the service to Ukraine which is integral to their operations. He says perhaps the Pentagon will have to pay. Well, of course.

Ours is home to decrepit old dogs - two 16 yr old Pappillions (one slowly dying with congestive heart failure) and a 15 yr old Dachshund.
