Were our future sins forgiven already?

So you say not repenting is required? Or following that reasoning "calling" is work.

Whosoever shall call on the name of Jesus shall be saved.

After that we must ask forgiveness because daily sin we may commit will sever the fellowship (but not the salvation)

YOu continue to misunderstand what I am saying because you have never had the actual experience of being born again.

1. Asking forgiveness can occur once in your life, which is the pre-requisite for being born again. Then you would have found that your sins were forgiven at the Cross.

2. Daily I commit sins again and again. Then I confess repeat CONFESS repeat C O N F E S S, but do not ask for the forgiveness because I know that all the sins were already forgiven.
Read carefully 1 John 1 where you find that you have to CONFESS,instead of asking the forgiveness. In other words, you are confued between asking the forgiveness and Confessing.

3. In your daily life, when you comitted sins or found the sins in the past, you may lament or sigh, but are not supposed to ask for the forgiveness if you are truly born again already.
Sometime I am very much broken hearted even if I was born again long time ago. But I don't ask for the forgiveness, instead, I confess, " Lord I have sinned to you!" then God reminds me of the fact that even such sin was included in the forgiveness of sins at the Cross, and thereby I learn and realize the importance and the value of the Redemption at the Cross.

4. I have interviewed many people who insist that we should ask for the forgiveness of our sins every day and found that they have never received the answer from God for their prayer asking for the forgiveness. If you pray God to forgive your sins until you receive the answer from Him clearly, then you receive the answer very clearly, which is the real Being Born Again.

That happened to me on Sept 2, 1973 which I never forget.

Those people who claim that we should continue to ask God to forgive our sins every day are the people who have never prayed desperately until they receive the answer from God.

Try to pray until you get the Answer from God, then your life will be totally changed, and your postings will be changed.

Otherwise, you will still remain as churchman without actual being born again.

Bob--what is your definition of a Christian?
At the very "least" it is someone who actually lets themslef "READ" the Bible and place value on the "Words of Christ" rather than turning a blind eye to what He says that displeases them.

But of course - it goes beyond that point as well.

The answer to that is "FRUIT"
Matthew 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

When Jesus Christ died on the cross, He bore the sins of the world in His body. 1 Peter 2:24
Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

That is past, present and future sins. That does not mean we don't sin in our daily lives. But once we are saved, we are set free from the bondage of sin. We do not have a license to sin (Rom.6:1-2), but if we do sin we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus the Righteous

(1 John 2:1) My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: PTL!!!
Credit where credit is due.

You got that teaching right.

But sadly (and predictably) you "ignored the details" of the question and so your answer does not even address it.

The question was HOW can the conviction of sin and the yielding to the Spirit's call for repentance be warped by some into thinking "ahh the sign you are not saved".

On the contrary an ear that is inclined to the Spirit and submits to His call IS "a child of God" according to Romans 8 with the Spirit Himself bearing witness WITH the saint that they ARE "the child of God"

In Christ,

Bob
