I want one like an angel
I want one like this...

Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is.[1 John 3:2]

I want a body like the one the Christ has. You can have one like the angels, give me a body like the Christ's. post-resurrection.

I'd add...I would like to have the one He was transfigured into on the Mount. Regardless, I want to be exactly as my Savior, whatever that looks like--Spiritually, physically, psychologically, etc.

That's what I am referring to. We will have a physical body that is glorified just as our Christ has a physical, glorified body. The same body He went away in is the same body He is coming back in. Physical and glorified. I want that body. @loDebar can have the angelic body.

AMEN SG!... 1 Corinthians 15 emphasis is on our resurrected body that will be changed and as I heard an Old Line Baptist preacher say, not exchanged... The same body that goes in will be the same body that comes out... Only glorified!

1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Job said the same thing... Brother Glen:)

Job 19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

19:26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

19:27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.

so if eternal souls are also being created as the body it violates the verse.

so, God said creating was stopped, so more souls were not to be created, so they were already created before the body were formed.

Follow the logic, check the verses,

There is no logic. You have failed to show those verses support your claim.

You glibly dismiss millennia of devout exposition that concludes Psalm 82 is speaking of earthly rulers when gods are mentioned, offering no counter exposition whatever. All you offer is a non sequitor.

"This had to be in Heaven."

Really? Why? Do you deny the omnipresence of God?

Do you think Jesus and Satan were spirit brothers?
If you believe rulers is appropriate. Then you must also believe that Jesus either did not understand the charges against him or answered incorrectly.
In John10. They were rulers but tried to stone Him further.
This is elohyim , God was speaking to the elohyim
He are elohyim, die like men
How can one deny scripture in this way

Rulers is used one time for gods. This is not it.

The verse alone show the claim
Clear statements need little logic.
How are you condemned, if not as flesh and blood?

break it down for us, exactly how does it show your position. Simply making a claim of some sort of logic is not proof, its not evidence, it is not convincing. What it does show is your own presupposition.

The verse are the evidence, the words of Jesus are the witness.

I gave many before this is to review of 3
Jesus said " the Father budget no man but all judgement is given to the Son
Jesus said "Ye judge after flesh, I judge no man"

Yet we are condemned already according to Jesus

So if you were not condemned as a man, what were you or how were you condemned
Who pronounced judgment?

Ok you have changed the topic, not that you have used these verses properly either. Go back to the op.

Just a lot of questions and words of Jesus contradict it. We obviously do not understand something
This same Jesus is coming again. This same Jesus that left in a cloud is coming again.

“Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking up into heaven? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come in the same way that you have seen him going into heaven.”[Acts 1:11]

This same Jesus is coming again who said ”Look at my hands and my feet, that it is I myself! Touch me and see, because a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you can see I have.”[Luke 24:39] In His post-resurrection body He had flesh and bones.

Jesus is God, so how could he either misunderstand, or not know anything?

But he could go through walls,
I do not want this body,

Keep spewing these heresies and you just might get your wish. :Whistling

Don't worry loDebar you won't have to... You don't tell God what body you want he tells you what body you will get... Brother Glen:)

1 Corinthians 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

15:36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

15:37 And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

15:38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

Like SG said its a fleshly, spiritual body with flesh and bones... Do I understand it?... NO!... Do I believe it... Scripture claims nothing else!
