If God calls you over the telephone it doesn't make the telephone the ONLY AUTHORITY. Its a medium of communication. Nothing states writings are superior to words.

And human notions of reliability does not apply to God. If God wants the gospel taught by smoke signals that is fine.

GOD is the only authority. If God wants a pack of hungry dogs to deliver a whole pizza to you we don't correct God and say, well you know we can just take a this car right here. God will have a child knock out a giant, we could use a battle tank, lord.

There's an old saying if you ever want to make God laugh tell him your plans.

Jesus picked his paper and ink in the people he calls his church. And people can insist that is the worst reliable tool of conveying Christianity. Jesus gave a command to DO THIS, I didn't see write this down.

His authority will be expressed HIS way not my way.

The Church is an organization started by Jesus Christ. There had to be some form of authority for the newly emerging Christian faith, thus the Church. It started with the Apostles and then continued on after they all died.

The reality is Jesus did not say for his Apostles to just write a book and let the future Christians figure it all out for themselves. Nope, Jesus never said such a thing.
All scripture is given by the inspiration of God.......

The universal body of Christ is of Jesus ...not any man made denomination

You will get no argument from me on that statement. And the Church likewise came from the inspiration of God, in the form of Jesus Christ, God Incarnate on this earth.

The Church and Jesus cannot be separated - they are one together, the Bride and the Bridegroom.
