No,I was saved at home in Jan. of 1989. I couldn't wait to go to church to pubicly confess and whoa-boy, I didn't know that I had that many tears inside.

Thanks all for sharing! The testimonies here are wonderful!

I find it interesting that some of you were saved after hearing a sermon but didn't walk the aisle until after you were saved. I beleive this shows that it is the Holy Spirit that works to convict the heart. I thank the Lord for pastors that let the Spirit work through them as they give the message!

To those who were saved at the altar, I say Amen and Amen! (And lets not forget the VBSers!) I just know in my heart, if that pastor had not offered an altar call, those people would still be saved. The Spirit would have somehow led them to someone or somewhere in His Word to help them find the way. It was the Spirit that drew us all unto Him and as your sister in Christ I praise Him for WHATEVER brought us together!

Yes... the Holy Spirit had tugged on my heart for several days to come forward during invitation and I answered the call on a Sunday night... at the age of eight back in 1961.

Take care and God Bless.
