the Lord used the persecution of the English Puritans, here in England, to take the Gospel and Christianity to America. Are you saying that this was wrong?

I believe that it was God's will to send more of humanity across the Atlantic. [There were already people there, but I digress.}

But it's EXACTLY like it being God's will to send the Hebrew people into the Promised Land. Once they got there, they didn't exactly be obedient to him nor handle the indigenous peoples the way he told them to.
There's God's will and then there is human sin. You are talking about the former. Use of Time is talking about the latter.

I agree, but the good that they did far outweighs the bad. no doubt that many of the indigenous peoples themselves came to faith in Jesus through the Puritans.
I've read estimates as high as 90% reduction of the native American population from European diseases.
Atheists try to blame Christianity for the mistreatment of the native peoples, but that is just more hogwash from the Godless left.
If I recall a preacher wanted to treat the native peoples as he would want to be treated (i.e. Christianity 101) but his greedy flock ousted him. So the tares within the professing "Christians" mistreated the native peoples. Will our "media" tell that to the COGS? (Children Of Godless Schools)

God used slavery to get the gospel to many who had been in Africa. Slavery is still wrong.
People like David Brainerd and Jonathan Edwards shared the gospel to indigenous people without killing them or destroying their way of life. Manifest Destiny is a very tortured theology that viewed the US as the Promised Land and WASPs as the Israelites taking the Promised Land by force from the wicked pagan nations. It is a godless position, like southern slavery, that cannot ever be justified.
American Indians lost the war against European colonists and their tribal enemies. It's that simple.
Every single country in the world was formed out of war and conquest.

God uses the wicked to accomplish His purpose, demonstrated often in the scriptures.
It is interesting to watch people argue that the ends justify the means.
God gave us no regulative principle to justify slavery or wiping out indigenous tribes. There is no justification for those means. What we can see is that, despite the wickedness of European empirialists, God redeems his elect from every nation, tribe and tongue.

I am assuming folks are familiar with the regulatory laws concerning slavery in the Old Testament?
Did not Paul even address slavery issues as it concerned converts to Christianity?
Certainly, there is no justification for the purchase and selling of another human in our time, let them whom desire to be enslaved engage in addictive behavior. That way those not enslaved don’t have to purchase, but the enslaved purchase for themselves.
The above is said in irony that common folk would bring condemnation to those of the past yet excuse or ignore current enslaved folks, like children!
Perhaps it has escaped people’s knowledge that the “great” United States is The Number ONE nation engaged in human trafficking!!!
