Any opinions on this? I'm not sure what to make out of it...it sounds awfully WoF to me.

"sounds awfully WoF to me" Ya, wof woof, holy barking, sounds about right

Lots of people love it, others can't stand it. Think you are close in your estimation, though I've never wasted my money to buy it and read it.

Word of Faith. One of the many "teachings" that have developed out of the charismatic movement.

    Me, too!

I'm actualy re-reading my own book to prepare to answer questions about it, since I'm talking about it in a couple of SS classes tomorrow (and on the radio in Nov. and maybe sooner).

    Thanks, TaterTot! :love2:

Thanks for telling me this! Do you teach, TaterTot? What grade(s)?

I said I was re-reading my book partly because of speaking today and because of a radio show in Nov. I suddenly remembered today that I am on a radio show Tuesday night, 8-10 pm ET! I will talk about my book and its topics. The info is here:
online broadcast and can be heard by going here http://www.unchainedradio.com/nuke/index.php. When the program is live, there will be a large button that says "Listen here." After the program, there will be a link to the audio in the Podcast director http://podcast.unchainedradio.com/.

That would be great, TaterTot! It's a call-in show as well. The numbers to join in the conversation are 1800-466-1873 or 619-793-5180.

The Way of the Master I forgot the author's name, but Kirk Cameron is his buddy in this evangelistic project. I have thoroughly enjoyed it...except when I've been convicted!

Sheperding a Child's Heart by Paul David Tripp. My wife and I have a 5 month old. This is a great book about shaping a child's heart toward God rather than merely controlling/manipulating behaviour.
