Just started it again - found it for mr e-sword so I can easily search, copy, and paste. Also reading "Think Biblically" by the staff at the Masters College and some reading for my paper.

Roads to Modernity: The American, French, and British Enlightenments by Gertrude Himmelfarb

1776 by David McCullough

God and Man in the Law by Robert Lowry Clinton

The Case for Democracy by Natan Sharansky

3 - 6 proverbs a day and "blame it on the brain" by Ed Welch. Welch's book is kind of boring, but I need to read it for school. I also have a book by Bruce Ware on Open Theism I am going to start reading afterwards.

The Origin of Mountains, by Cliff Ollier and Colin Pain. Why everything they ever told you about mountain-building is wrong. :D

Just finished *The last disciple* by Hank Hanegraaff and Sigmund Brouwer...I found it quite good.
It's different to what I've read before...I read the left behind series and enjoyed them. This book however is fictional also, but written from a partial preterist slant. Its given me food for thought.

The JW's just left me a book, hardbound and neatly printed, with illustrations titled: Life-How Did it Get Here? by evolution or creation.

It is actually a decent book, and amazing how the cults can blend fact and fiction and bring the reader around to their doctrines.

My second book is, The Old Testament in Contemporary Preaching by Walter Kaiser, jr. It is actually a re-read of a 1973 book.

Cheers, and good reading,

Jim

I have The Last Disciple sitting by my desk. I haven't started it yet. Since Rich liked it, I need to get started.

I just picked up another today called The Maker's Diet. Someone donated two to the media center, so I brought one home to read. Anyone read it yet.

Also reading Man to Man, by Chuck Swindoll. This book represents the combined article's related to men's topics from the author. As always, Chuck is a very good writer and I would recommend this.

I finished The Maker's Diet. I wasn't so crazy about it. Now, I've got Charles Swindoll's So, You Want to be like Christ? to read at the beach this upcoming weekend.

Has anyone ever read "A Resilient Life, You Can Move Ahead No Matter What" by Gordon MacDonald?

I am thinking about getting it but was curious if anyone else had any feedback. Thanks.
