I've got a copy of Mere Christianity that's been staring me in the face for a few months now. Now, if I could just 'merely' get around to reading it!!:D

I just received my copy of "The Shack" by William P. Young

We'll be reading it as a family each available evening over the next month.

It's been compared to John Bunyan's Pilgrim's Progress

I just finished last night, reading a GREAT book. The title is "Mormons and Muslims: A Case of Matching Fingerprints" The subtitle is "Mormons and Muslims are More Alike than you Might Think!" This book was written by Mr. Dennis Kirkland.

You need to get this book and read it. Its one of the best that I read all year. If you don't know a lot of about both, Muslims and Mormons, then this book is for you. If you don't know how to witness to them then this book is for you.

Its written by a man that has been a missionary in Utah for years and now is ministering to Muslims in his local area. Its a quick read. Its informative, interesting and inspiring.

You would be wise to get it and read it. You can find it on Amazon or you could contact me and I'll get you in contact with him to order it. The book is $13.99 and $3.01 for shipping and handling making it $17.00. Let me say that its totally worth it.

Excited to hear from you.

I just started "Jesus Without Religion", by Rick James. I'm not yet sure if it's good, or not.

I'm reading "Six Frigates, The Epic History of the Founding of the U.S. Navy" by Ian W. Toll. So far it's been an excellent read.

Surprised by Hope by N.T. Wright.

I'd love to discuss this with someone!

I'm also reading that book; I just got it, and I like some of it.

Bishop Wright is somewhat maverick.
