Currently listening to my Finale program try to play back my thoughts on the written staff. It's humbling to hear a melody I like with such passion played back with no emotion at all.

Funny story with Margaret. Back in the early 80s, my husband was starting a new band. He was auditioning a few singers (all friends of his) and Margaret tried out. She didn't get the job. He kicks himself now - and laughs. The guy who got the job is now a pastor at a church near us. DH also played with Kathy Troccoli.

RE: What are you listening to?

Guide me, O thou great Jehovah by the Indian Bottom Association of Old Regular Baptists!! No sweeter music than this!! BTW, does anyone know how I can get this? The only way I could get it is by ordering it from the internet and don't want to risk using a credit card to get it. Too many people could get the CC # and ruin me and my wife. If you want to listen to this WONDERFUL music, go to WWW.oldregularbaptist.com and click on the music link at the bottom of the page. Also, listen to "The Day is Past and Gone"!! I was raised in the Old Regulars and love their music. My dad is an ORB Elder. May God Bless!! John 3:16:1_grouphug:

Lifescapes "Pachelbel" CD with 4 versions of "Canon in D" performed in a chamber ensemble and on piano, guitar, and lute, and also featuring compositions by Bach, Haydn, Vivaldi, and others. Can't get enough of it!!! :applause:

Matthew Sweet and Susannah Hoffs - "Under the Covers, Vol. 1"

Normally, I would never listen to either of these artists, but this is a great album, particularly her cover of "Who Knows Where the Time Goes" and his cover of "It's All Over Now, Baby Blue".
