Have a journal type project that has been going for years mostly for my kids. That way I don't have to proof it

Write for my website all the time which keeps me out of trouble. Nothing in print and probably will not. I've always taken the tack that God called me, God trained me, Got financed me why should I profit

One publisher was "interested" in one of the books but would require removing it from the internet so that was the end of that.

One appeared on a couple of CDROM's but not sure why it made it.

I would encourage all of you to share your work on the net. It is not that hard and you can know others are profiting from your effort.

Currently working on Mark 6 - getting way bogged down, there is so much in that book!

    I can only dream.

My brother's thesis was published and is now a textbook. He has three books out. I would love to see the project I am working on published someday. We will see, you never know what God will do.

So how does one make a website? With a CD, it seems to be very easy to do. And with DH's home business, that would really get him exposure, too. Please share, thanks!

Now Sopranette and mcdirector, don't you know that word? "Loater" actually means "sophisticated" in Japanese (NOT). [IMG]

Our mistakes could be part of what makes each of us interesting.

AND I love that we can have a good time over a small one rather than the opposite happening :D

A thesis is a tremendous amount of work. We would say in Japanese, Ganbatte! (Loosely translated, "Do your best.")

We have a great Japanese saying, "Even a monkey sometimes falls from a tree," meaning that no matter how good we are at something, we are still only human and make mistakes.

"So how does one make a website?"

    1. find a place to store it. Godaddy.com is cheap and there are others - there are some that are free but you get advertizing with your page.

    2. Microsoft Word can convert documents into .html files if you have Word. It depends on what format the files or in on the cd as to what you would need.

Are. they .doc .pdf or something else?

    3. You need a method to upload the files to your storage site. Some browsers do this or you can find some free FTP programs on the net.

There are some on the board that know about this stuff, post what you have and you should have all the help you need.
