What bores you?

Hardware stores <gag>

This is even worse than a hardware store: Being around people who are talking about houses or painting, remodeling, buying, or selling houses (I'm a renter, have zero interest in your house or how it was built or its worth or if you are going paint it, or expand the kitchen, etc, etc. :sleeping_2: :sleeping_2: ).

 

bad service

people who don't listen

sport, sports news, sports chatter, sport anything to do with sport.

car programmes ditto

anything to do with fish or fishing

 

Oh those things are my favorites! Wanna hear what color I'm going to paint my new family room??? LOL!

Elevator music bores me.

super bowl and other wastes of time to accomplish nothing but to entertain through violence.
All sports channels, all music channels, G4 cable channel,
talk about cars and motors
standing in a garage for hours while they work on my car they said would take 10 minutes
the internet past the first 20 minutes

As a matter of fact, I see it as a rub in, we own our house and you don't, haha.

We call that an organ recital.... Maude, I think my spleen just fell out. Come take a look....

I guess I'm easily amused. I can't think of a thing that would bore me.... I can watch grass grow, paint dry or dust settle.

I take that back. Anything poorly written. I don't mean grammar and punctuation.. I'm talking about the person who is trying out their new thesaurus and ain't saying anything!

 

I learned how to fix this, DonnA! Bring your old magazines to reread while you are waiting, and when you are finished, leave the magazines there. I told our machanic that if he wouldn't subscribe to some magazines that interested ladies, I'd bring him some. He never did figure out how a Woman's Day and Reader's Digest found their way into a stack of Field & Stream and Sports Illustrated.:laugh:

I also informed the doctor that he was going to inherit some Victorian Homes because I'm tired of nothing but National Geographic in his office. (I'm the favorite patient now for the receptionists.):thumbsup: hehe

 

Have I mentioned before that I am bored by posts that quote after quote after quote and often quote off topic anyway..Once they start quoting and requoting, I buzz off....Anyone know of a good chat site that doesn't quote and requote?

It doesn't bore me so much as sends my head into a tailspin. I have difficulty understanding some things because of my strokes and short-term memory problems. Even reading a book anymore is a trial at times. I read the one paragraph over and over trying to understand.

When constant re-quoting, my mind says I have read that somewhere before,,oh right, it says, it was in the last five posts.
