    Alcohol affects the brain.

    The verses that show that it does, and the clear verses showing abstinense are much appreciated. I did not think about Hannah's example being a picture of the clear passage of instruction that Paul gave Timothy of women being sober (1 Samuel 1 & 1 Timothy 3). What a wonderful insight!
