What can you tell us about Jesus's forever torture chamber?

Matt 25:46
These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.

II Thes 1:8-9
These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction, away from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

Rev 20:10
And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

There are more verses - but these three should suffice

The problem for those that believe in forever punishment is that, if it's true, then it means that God doesn't get what he wants ...
So if there is no "forever punishment" A) how long do people stay in Hell 2) then what happens

I did come here for fellowship and what happens to wicked people upon death doesn't affect your salvation or mine. I will accept that we simply have a different understanding and leave it at that.
If there is no eternal punishment - then the masses can live "like Hell" suffer for a time and........
That is NOT the Gospel message that I will preach!

I dont know how long anyone is chastened. The Bible says that every tongue will confess, that Jesus is the Savior of ALL PEOPLE, and that God will be all in ALL.

Ok. So you believe that God and Jesus are both incompetent failures. You believe that the Gates of Hell prevail over Jesus. So be it.

All humanity will be saved regardless of whether or not they put their faith in Christ while in this life or not.

Yes. Jesus's sacrifice saves ALL from forever death. Those that follow Jesus are assured of going straight to Heaven upon death. The wicked, as judged by Jesus, go elsewhere for chastening and at some point thereafter they too will freely choose to follow Jesus. After all, Jesus IS the savior of ALL PEOPLE because he actually saves all people! Why doesn't your church teach this doctrine as Paul commanded?

1 Timothy 4:10-11
English Standard Version
10 For to this end we toil and strive,[a] because we have our hope set on the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe.
11 Command and teach these things.

23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,
24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. - Luke:13

I believe that the lost are chastened after death and that, eventually, God grants them repentance so that they can come to the truth and then they will gleefully choose to follow Jesus.

Remember, nobody can follow Jesus unless God permits them to do so. Also, or so I believe, nobody can repent unless allowed by God to do so.

Acts 5:31
Verse Concepts
He is the one whom God exalted to His right hand as a Prince and a Savior, to grant repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

Acts 11:18
Verse Concepts
When they heard this, they quieted down and glorified God, saying, “Well then, God has granted to the Gentiles also the repentance that leads to life.”

2 Timothy 2:25
Verse Concepts
with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth,

Romans 2:4
Verse Concepts
Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?

2 Peter 3:9
Verse Concepts
The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
The concept that the Catholic church has of purgatory is not found in scripture anywhere. That would deny the Perfect once for all time sacrifice the Jesus said was finished

No, it doesn't. And, it is supported by Scripture

You're the one that teaches that Jesus tortures people forever in Hell, not me, remember?

If Jesus is making people suffer then perhaps he'll let guys like you help him to inflict more pain and suffering on those bad people. They've got it coming! Right?

This thread should demonstrate the comically absurd doctrine of forever punishment. It's unbiblical, unless you ignore the plethora of scriptures that demonstrate its absurdity.

Please identify for us the other like minded 'biblical Christians' who believe as you do? Name of church or denomination or sect? Or, have you established The Church of Mur?

Actually, as some other people here, I believe you're trolling here

Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God? - Ezekiel 18:23

If Christ had delight in the fate of the wicked he never would have come to planet earth.
