Well maybe he had lint or maybe he didn't but I don't think so, [IMG] God would have had to create an eighth day for that one.

hmmm, I never thought about the fact of a belly button!
I would have to say no they did not have one because our belly buttons are formed in teh womb from the umbillical cord. Since they were not made in the womb I would say no.

As far as them having it as a phisical attribute, I still disagree. Many years ago we (Humans) also had a few more organs in our bodies that we do not have today. We do not need them now.
Like the apendix, no one knows what it is really for, and we know we do not need them, but maybe a long time ago due to elements, etc.. we needed it.

So in my humble opinion I would say no to the belly buttons. And I would think that Eve was a beautiful creature as was Adam.

No body knows all about that first body. It is not necessary that we know. The question cannot be answered with authority from the Word of God, so we just don't know. God knows, but He chose not to inform us on every little detail. It is that thirst for knowledge and wisdom to know the unknown, an/or the unexplained. We humans know to not tell everything and not show everything (or should know better), for it heightens the desire and the appetite to want to know more and see more ------- we men, and you women know the game played. It is just the wonder of it all. Take those things away and we have adiaphory. No way can we read the Word of God and subscribe to indifference.

But perhaps with a few clues, we may be able to form something that could be acceptable to you. Your question caught my attenion, so we have to start at the beginning to see if we can piece together something acceptable. What I found is good enough for me, but it may not be for you. Your questions are interesting, but not necessary that I understand, but perhaps this little exercise will help you on your way to further study of His Word on this matter, and others. Answers are only found in His Word, and if the answer is not available to us, we are to acknowledge the question is not important for us to know, or God would have told us.

To your questions. God made man in His image, but of course not just like God. Eve coming from Adam was in the image of Adam, but of course not just like Adam, but their name was Adam. God is pure and the Bible always associates white with those without sin, and clothed in white. The dirt we were formed with from the earth had not been polluted, so also the dirt was pure, again denoting white, so shouldn't we start from that premise? So I would think we must look as they, and maybe with the belly button. Ever seen the Pillsbury Dough Boy? Perhaps God poked his finger in Adams stomach (for an “inny”) to help make us a little lower than the angels.

For this reason I would think Adam and Eve were white, as was Japheth. I believe Cain became black, as was Ham. I believe Cain knew his wife, who had to be white, producing the offspring of the muted of white mixed with black, producing the color of the Hebrew Shem. The different variations we see today came from the mixture of the three of the sons of Noah -- Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

This cannot be disproved as all information is in His Word. Is it correct? I don’t know, but there is no other biblical information to disprove what is shown above which is biblical. Christian faith, ituttut Galatians 1:11-12

After God had created all He saw that it was very good. That's good enough for me!

Ge 2:7 then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.

    "Dust" color - simple! :D
Yes - of course, people today are many various "dust" shades, depending on where they live. The dirt in my yard is a sort-of redddish brown, which is the same color my neck amd arms get when I dig in the yard or mow the grass. My skin gets lighter in the winter, so...uh...I'm not sure that follows my theory!? ;)

No - unless God decided to give them one anyway so the kids wouldn't ask, "Mom and Dad, why do we have belly buttons and you don't?" ;)
