What do you think about Pat Robertson?

Do you like him? I don't know but somehow I don't like him. The way he looks and talks. He seems so strange to me. When you hear him talk you don't really know what to think, wether he only says these things or wether he also really means them. I also don't like him being so involved into politics.

In my personal opinion, Rick Warren is much more dangerous than Pat Robertson because he is much more slick in the way he operates.

Yep... that's true. Although, different demographics may take one over the other (e.g. California would be more prone to consume RW, and a more centered state may be more inclined towards PR.) That's the convience of a "personal scale" though... I can order it how I want

(And I thought the Virgin Birth was a doctrine!) He also told a town in Pennsylvania that God won't hear their cries for help, Ariel Sharon's stroke was punishment from God, and shortly after 9-11, he and Jerry Falwell said that God lifted His protection over America because of the ACLU, the gays, and the feminists. I was so furious with the both of them that I wanted to give them both a one-way ticket to Afghanistan!

Ever take a look at the simple sermons of Jesus whom most call too simple when preached by a modern-day preacher?

One time I actually preached one of Jesus' sermons and a lady came to me and told me it was too simple and not enough meat. I just never announed that it was one of the sermons Jesus preached until she criticized me.

If by slick you mean the fact that about 75% of the members of the church came to Christ through the ministry there then I guess you could call him slick. I wonder how many churches in any part of the U.S. could claim that kind of evangelism?

It is, afterall, all about attracting a big crowd and getting them saved at any cost. Nevermind sound doctrine and what the Bible says. Entertain them, make them feel good about themselves and they will be good to go for another week. And if they oppose your seeker theology, just wait long enough and maybe they will die or leave.

This remind me of Creflo Dollar, he said if a person is not growing financially they tell them their prayer life is sub par. This frustrates the person into leaving which will free up the seat for a better tither...
