You will now be writing in that great baptist board in the sky. You won't be here!
It's is not a pleasant thought but when you gotta go you gotta go. Now you have a chance to leave a memory of who you were for the world to see.

What Do You Want On Your Tombstone?...
And don't say pepperonie... Brother Glen :D

Awana stands for: "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed."

Here's their web site.

On my tombstone?

Then in a nobler sweeter song
I'll sing Thy power to save,
When this poor, lisping, stammering tongue
Lies silent in the grave.

Not going to have one. Scatter ashes on the Wyoming Mountains that I loved. Memorial at the base of one in LaBonte Canyon will say
quote:
He Died Climbing

Already have my funeral service planned, hymns, scripture - I have worked with way too many funerals and KNOW the relatives miss a lot in the time of death; things go unsaid or undone. So it is attached to my will. And my living will.
quote:
Jesus loves me, this I know,
For the Bible tells me so

Think that Karl Barth asked for that as the summary of his life. Impressed my simple heart!

I'm not sure. This popped into my head:
quote:
If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead

But I'll think about it some more....

Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

"Shed no tears for me, I am in Heaven with the WAY the TRUTH and the LIFE, and I LIVE! If you want to know who He is, grab a Bible (KJV1611), look up the following scriptures: John 3:16 & Romans 10:13"

Then in smaller print under that "O how I love Jesus, O how I love Jesus, O how I love Jesus, because He first loved me!"

"Jesus loved me, Praise God He loved me!"
Romans 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.

Then at the bottom, simply: JESUS SAVES SINNERS!
