Please read my OP, did I say I didn't like the way she looked? I bet you didn't even listen to her...

She rambles. Besides a woman should not be a pasror so yea I got tired of her after a few minutes. I just found her whole delivery creepy .

Goodness me, certainly would not make it as far as the car park at my mothers church. I did not know that there was such a thing as a female pastor in the Lutheran church....

Her doctrine is pretty much Lutheran, which is fine, since she is one. Again, what is it exactly? Sounds like people don't like her because she is a woman (women can be pastors in the ELCA...and should be able to be in every denomination, in accordance with the biblical witness on the subject) and because she doesn't act like they think a pastor should act.

What is so exiting about her Jaigner? Personally, whether one approves of people or of the way they do their work, their performance is the only thing that counts & indeed the only thing that anyone should pay attention to.

With that said, I don't view leadership of any sort as "charisma", nor "Public Relations" & certainly not showmanship.....again its performance, consistent behavior & trustworthiness. Does she hit the mark in each of these points should be the question & ultimately the answer.

I agree - her doctrine is actually worse than her demeanor.

What doctrine:

Social justice, womens issue, alcholic, ect....

Unitarians are cool ?

She said she grew up as a fundy Baptist - and thought a non-baptist could not get to Heaven - REALLY!

I am a Lutheran - I fell in love with Lutheran liturgy.

Ten minutes into the "speech" only mention of Christians - is she doesnt like them.

She admits to swearing on a daily basis. Not to mention a large portion of her is tattoo.

Nothing was said about the cross, grace thru faith for salvation.
Never once gave a Bible reference. Mentioned a few events, such as Jesus walking on water.

All she talked about was how great to be a Lutheran. Nothing about being born again.

I trust she is NOT typical of the ECLA

Go easy on her, she's trying to fill the pews with an ear-tickling sermon. Pews can't be filled preaching gospel truth.

ELCA is very liberal. Women pastors, gay pastors in 'committed relationships', bible 'contains' the word of God and not inerrant, etc. The Missouri and Wisconsin Synods are very conservative and don't entertain such novelties.

Actually, she fits right in the ELCA

Exactly. LCSM and WELS are pretty solid.
