What does a Thug Look Like?

I don't know the facts but the evidence so far tells me the whole thing would have been averted if the young thug looking kid that was with Brown would have told the truth. He was the one saying Brown's hands were in the err and said the cop shot him the back. It seems he spread this story in the neighborhood and then the media saw a Hot story and plastered all over the tube, true or not, it was going to make money for them.

So exactly what does a young looking thug look like? Is it the hair? Is it the tattoos? What is it that identifies a thug?

Part of the problem in the United States with race is that the majority harbors racial prejudices like this poster demonstrated, but can't seem to bring themselves to admit it.

So why is there so much racial prejudice coming from the Body of Christ? Oh Lighthouse on a hill to which the lost world is supposed to be attracted, why do we continue to display the ugliness of the world instead of the love of Christ?

To me, a "thug" is one who is a tough guy pushing his weight around or so desires to give the impression thereof. Both are cowards but with enough support behind them they can be quite bullish.

At 6', 4", and weighing in at 290 pounds this 18 year old (Brown) was a dangerous weapon in and of himself. Hands in the air charging the cop? Just a show. Had it been me I would have shot the guy myself. Especially after he had already busted my head.

Judas kissing Jesus..., just a show. Scribes and Pharisees? Just a show. Thugs. Small minded people. A deep rooted need to be someone.

It's been interesting to me when reading commentary coming from conservative black authors, pastors, etc., who squarely point the collective finger at their own race. Especially the likes of JJ & Al. Al is a multi-millionaire and is in it for the money. ...all the while they both like being referred to as Reverend.

to describe someone as a thug relates to BEHAVIOR and ASSOCIATION. not to one's appearance, looks, mode of dressing (though one can say one dresses like a criminal, ergo, a thug), the pockmarks on one's face, bad teeth, unkempt hair, etc.

therefore your attempt to portray the members of the "body of Christ" on this board as judgmental and 'unchristian' falls flat on its face.

we are unworthy of your holy and righteous presence, so, as I suggested in another place, why don't you try and get home to the presence of the truly Righteous One instead of sticking around where you know the attitude does not equal yours ?

that said, one can be well dressed in Armani clothing from neck to socks, in and out, including what holds his pants up, have his hair slicked back and face clear of beards, mustache, goatees, etc., and still be a thug, like the Iceman of New York/New Jersey, if you've read about him.

In the same token, one can be wearing saggy pants, with holes near where the sun doesn't shine for practical purposes, dirty shoes, smelly socks, with something continously buzzing round and landing on his hair, and still not be a thug, at all.

Or he might be wearing a clean pressed uniform with a badge, and still be a thug.

According to your perception of most of your 'brethren' (do I see you cringe when I suggest that most on this board are, in fact, your brethren ?), we are THUGS, behaviorally, mindset-wise, and tongue-wise.

Let's see. If I listen to politically conservative media outlets, I hear the same things that I have heard so often on this board about race. Thug this and thug that. Race baiter this and race baiter that.

Yall LITERALLY repeat the same things that they say on FOX News and talk radio. So why is that accepted as the Gospel truth?

I don't hear anybody on the politically liberal media outlets often referring to people with black skin as thugs, or that they got what they deserved after they are killed.

So as a Christian, who should I believe? The folks on the politically conservative right who seem angry about everything and everyone it comes through in their speech? or the folks on the politically liberal left who are also angry?

SO my question remains. Given the statement by the person quoted, and the appearance of the said young man, how exactly is thug looking defined?

we are unworthy of your holy and righteous presence, so, as I suggested in another place, why don't you try and get home to the presence of the truly Righteous One instead of sticking around where you know the attitude does not equal yours ?

The poster you want to roast under the guise of being righteously indignant, o holy one, is speaking on how society in general perceives what thugs and gangstas look like just like you wouldn't (I hope) like your young ones hanging around pool halls because societally pool halls are regarded to be seedy.
And being dressed up and prettified in the next photo (I am assuming that is him in the suit beside the lawyer_looking gentleman) does not detract from the fact he was in the company of somebody who behaved like a thug and got shot for it and he (your guy) judging from what appears to be becoming apparent, lied in his testimony, which doesn't help clean up his image.
Now, forget about all other blacks. In fact, forget about Michael Brown....for now. Focus on this thug_looking young man.
Can you, o most holy one, lay your righteous reputation on the line and say unequivocally that this young man, victim, descendant of a once enslaved people once exploited by evil whites and therefore entitled to everything and to all tolerance from today's whites, that this young gentleman never behaved like a thug towards anybody in his life ?

What does a thug look like? They wear clothing in contrast to common sense. It can be 90 degrees outside and they have on a jacket and or hoodie and big bulky clothing. It looks like they are trying to hide something.

Thugs where pants around their ankles which originally began in prisons that let others know they were available if you get my meaning. That stupid and vile look has transfered to the street.

They seem to have no self respect in the way they dress or act toward themselves or others. They talk like they were raised away from civilization and usually have no cooth or etiquette.
