1999 Dodge Grand Caravan (to haul the little ones around) and a 1990 Geo Prism with about 200k that we've had since college.

They get us from point a to point b!

[IMG] Check out this: Believe it or not, I am known as the "Motorcycle Preacher Man." :D I ride a red Honda 1300-C VTX to and from the church, out visiting, to hospitlas, etc. Unless it is raining, I am on the Honda making more VPH's than I could otherwise in my 1995 Buick Century... which is what I drive when the weather is indeed too inclement for me to jump on the big bike. By the way, VPH's stands for "Visits per Hour!" Ha! I get more VPH's while on the bike. Sure, I know it is more dangerous :( than an automobile, but life is short so why not live a little? ;)

I also get much better gas mileage which is a great big blessing on my salary & budget. I get close to 40 mpg on the Honda compared to 12 - 14 in the Buick. So, that helps out on the gasoline bill immensely... especially these days with gas prices hovering around $2 per gallon.

~~ Also, riding my Motorccyle makes every day more exciting, every church ministry trip or hospital or home visit an adventure, and every church oriented trek fun. Now instead of just driving some place to get there, I TRAVEL THERE to also have FUN GETTING THERE! A-Men!

    God Bless,
SCUBABLT... [IMG] aka "Motorcycle Preacher Man"

A completely-paid for 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier with over 110,000 miles and no A/C (and I live in Florida.)

But it's paid for! (And I'm the youth minister, so that's kind of close.)

97 Mercury Grand Marquis, 79k. Bought it new and it is a boat to drive (rear wheel drive and a horror story on ice, snow, sand).

    It's for sale [IMG] [IMG]

"An interesting twist, since Moses drove a sports car (the roar of Moses' Triumph is heard in the hills.)"

Don't forget that Mozes also owned a Citroën 2CV.
After all, Mozes ging in zijn eendje de berg op.

(yes this only makes sense if you can read Dutch, but John can)

I drive a '98 Saturn SL2 that I owe very little on. It currently has about 106K miles. I bought it because I was looking for a cheap car payment and a reliable car that wouldn't drink the gas. I don't know how some of you guys manage with your V8s the way gas is right now.

My wife and children ride around town in a '99 Chrysler Town and Country Van that has about 84K miles. Our family grew faster than our old car would allow us to, so we had to get the van. Because we had to get a van faster than we had anticipated, we went into this one upside-down, so we'll be riding around in it for at least a couple more years. Could be worse though - we could have nothing at all to drive!

My husband and pastor drives nothing. :( His car is a 1989 Geo Spectrum, but it has officially died. We share a 1997 Jeep Cherokee that his grandmother bought us a few years ago when we had her first great-grandchild.

In Montana a 4x4 is essential. Last winter we totaled 69" of snow! (Wishing for a snow blower for Christmas.)
