What Happened to the Malaysian Airliner?

Why don't we wait until the information from the flight recorders are released?

The author claims you can hear views expressed of a "potentially tragic error" in Washington. Those words are in quote marks, so apparently he is quoting someone, I presume in Washington. So Google "potentially tragic error" and MH 017 and see what pops up. I'll save you the trouble--three references to the article linked in this post.

As to the photos of the cockpit allegedly showing entry/exit holes of artillery fire, well, using Google images search for "cockpit MH017", and see what you come up with. I'll save you the trouble--three references to the article linked in this post.

Don't bother I've already done it.

The consensus or narrative that's now being constructed by the same "credible news sources" that flat out claimed Russia and the "separatists" can be the only culprits that murdered 200+ people in cold blood (see such headlines as "Putin's Missiles" and "In Russia, Crime Without Punishment") are still claiming the "separatists" can be the only culprits but now it might have been a mistake.

It looks like these "credible news sources" have been forced to back down from their matter of fact claims due their inability to put the evidence where their word documents are.

Do you think TND, the Rev and CMG are going back off their own matter of fact claims now because their "credible news sources" have been forced to?

I doubt it very much. They'll probably just go silent.

Will they be men enough to admit they may have been wrong and apologize for how rudely they treated people who questioned the lack of evidence to back their matter of fact claims?

Again, I doubt that very much. It's not the "neocon" way.

I'd be interested to read those articles where the press is saying they made a mistake in pinning it on the separatists. Got a link?

Why are you asking me this? I never made such a claim.

Here's what I said.

"The consensus or narrative that's now being constructed by the same "credible news sources" that flat out claimed Russia and the "separatists" can be the only culprits that murdered 200+ people in cold blood (see such headlines as "Putin's Missiles" and "In Russia, Crime Without Punishment") are still claiming the "separatists" can be the only culprits but now it might have been a mistake."

In other words they went from the "separatists" murdered 200+ in cold blood! To the "separatists" might have killed 200+ by mistake. See the difference?

Either way they seem to be sure about knowing who did it. Even before the investigation is finished. TND and CMG came to their guilty of 1st degree murder verdict before the investigation even started.

Maybe that's why the mainstream media is becoming the dinosaur media and the neocons can't seem to get another war kicked off anymore.

No, I understood you. Do you have a link where the media is admitting the downing of the jet was a mistake?

C'mon really? Do I have to look up the definition of the word "might" for you?

Here, I'll use it in a few sentences.

"Look out that dog "might" bite."

"It "might" rain today."

"The separatists "might" have shot the plane down by mistake."

"TND "might" not insult someone today."

"The Rev "might" show us that evidence of Russians shelling Ukrainian military bases today."

"CMG "might" not use the old guilt by association trick today."

Poncho must still be working on finding that link....

"ITL "might" not try to put words in my posts that aren't there today."

As it pertains to the last four sentences . . . "Pigs "might" fly today."

OK, understood. You don't have a link to a story, any story, where some Western media outlet said the separatists shot down the airliner by mistake. Boy, you seemed so sure, what with underlining and bolding your assertion just a few posts upstream.

Haven't you noticed? The less he has, the more adamant he gets. Another sure sign he's a card-holding member of the UFO/contrails/tin-foil-hat club.

Link is to a video showing small, local TV news stations repeating the same story word-for-word. This is because these small stations buy their "filler news" from a news syndicate and simply read their news script rather than spending time writing their own script.

Very dishonest post, has nothing to do with neocons starting another war or the mainstream media becoming a dinosaur.

You think that's bad - I toyed with arguing his position even though I disagree, just because I know I can and he's missing some good stuff that if properly presented, could very well make a good debate. Ha!

Poncho is having a bit of trouble with the board. These are the links he wanted to post.

Thank you. All articles appear to be quoting US intelligence officers either anonymously or from a press briefing.

Put me in the camp that believes it is likely that Russian separatists did it, but the definitive proof is lacking.

The Russians themselves probably had the exclusive technical knowhow to shoot down the plane.

KGB Lt. Col. Putin is not enough of a man to pay the millions of dollars to the families of the people he murdered. Putin is a cheapskate thug.
