What happens if you die while you're sinning?

Brother Bob once again you are taking a Scripture completely out of context. Hebrews 6 does not talk about salvation by grace through faith. It talks about the salvation of the soul.

The soul can be saved and then lost. And once it has been saved and lost it can not be saved again.

The spirit is only saved once and has no chance of being lost. Salvation by grace through faith is a one-time event that when it is done it is irreversable and God never deals with someone after that fashion any longer.

Once the spirit has been made alive (saved by grace through faith) God starts to deal with the person as to sanctification (salvation of the soul). God never goes back to dealing with man's spirit, because it is alive.

Yes, but really talk to God this time and make it as sure as you can. You only pass this way but once, but you wouldn't be doing it all over again for the first time you were simply mistaken in your calling so you would really be doing it the first time.

So any assurance you have of your salvation is based on the fact that you believe you are maintaining a sinless state right now from whatever point you finally got saved. That is amazing.

10: For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
11: Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

Judgement seat of Christ is where all men will stand.

Didn't say that James for we all sin but not a sin unto death. We can start with lying (no liars in Heaven) adultery (Jesabelle will be destroyed) Murders ( no murderers in Heaven) etc.
I believe God put His laws in our hearts and wrote them in our minds and that we are kept by the power of God and I believe God is stronger than the devil.

Or is there some other way they are paying for their sins?

OK, so there are certain sins that are bad enough to keep you out of heaven, but other sins are ok for Christians. Now how do you explain verses like:
1 John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.

Wrong again Brother Bob. That is talking to believers. And the "all" is referencing the believers.

Now all men will be judged, but they are not all judged at the same time. The church will be judged after the rapture. Some will be judged just prior to the 1,000-year reign of Christ and then the unsaved will be judged at the great white throne judgment after the 1,000 years.

Claudia the Baptist church has gotten away from the true teaching of the Bible as has the vast majority of Christendom, which is exactly the way Scripture says it will be before the end of man's day.

I explain that verse by saying that we can know we are abiding in Jesus if we stop our sinning. If we dont, then we can know we dont belong to God and we show that we really dont know God at all if we keep on sinning, though we may profess to know Him

It is not paying for your sins, it is merely reaping what you sow. Paying for your sins like Christ paid for them would require you going to the lake of fire for all eternity. No Christian is going to somehow earn eternal salvation by suffering during the millennium.

Many believe the unsaved will have an opportunity to repent during the 1,000 years. But the Bible doesnt say that:

The righteous will be in heaven with Jesus during the 1,000 years.
"The slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground." Jeremiah 25:33. "I beheld, and, lo, there was no man." Jeremiah 4:25.

The wicked dead will lie upon the earth during the 1,000 years.
It is impossible for any person to repent during the 1,000 years because there will not be a person alive on earth. The righteous will all be in heaven. All the wicked will be lying dead upon the earth. Revelation 22:11,12 makes it clear that the case of every person is closed before Jesus returns. Those who wait to accept Christ until the 1,000 years begin will have waited too long.

Galatians 6:8
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

The thousand years is the duration of the kingdom, which the unclean will have no part in.

Ephesians 5:5
5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

I'm not going to address the 'they all go to heaven' part. But they will all be raised up on the last day IF they are believers.

I can only speak of the Baptist I know and that is not Baptist belief at all. Baptist believe that those in hell are the lost and in the judgement will stand before God and judged out of the things written in the books and then cast into a lake of fire and brimstone where the smoke of their torment will accend upward forever and ever. They will never see another time to repent nor will they ever see what Heaven looks like. If the Baptist believed what is being said here I would leave them.

You are correct that there are a lot of people that believe that. And you are also correct that the Bible doesn't teach it.

Neither James and I are promoting the idea that the unsaved will be given a second chance during the 1,000 years.

If you die in an unsaved state you have exhausted your only chance.

However, Christians will be judged according to their works and as James has pointed out they will be rewarded accordingly. Americans have the misconception that rewards are "always" a good thing. That is an incorrect view of what Scripture is saying.

As James said it is a payment for what is sown. If you sow in the flesh you will reap corrpution. But if you reap in the Spirit then you will reap life. But this is not eternal life. It is life for the coming kingdom, because your eternal life has already been taken care of and has nothing to do with works.
