Of course we know their fate. They went to hell.
That's what I thought.
I now get another question that could be asked:
If a person never hears the Gospel, what happens when they die?
My honest answer is I don't know.
May I ask you one question? Are you confident that if a man places his faith in Christ, he will be saved?
Yes, if that faith was heartfelt and public (Romans 10:9). Those that fall away to pain or worldliness are not saved (Mark 4:3-9).
So, if a man has faith in Christ but his faith is not "heartfelt" or "public" he may not expect to be forgiven. Is that correct?
Answer [KJB]:If a man dies denying Christ, can we be certain of his fate or not?
If a Muslim in the Islamic World becomes a Christian in their "heart" and goes to Mosque every Friday and does all the Muslim prayers and never tells anyone else they believe in Jesus, are they really saved? This happens quite a lot I hear, and is tragic beyond words (Luke 9:26).
Now, I don't know the hearts of others, so I cannot speak to who is ultimately in the safe or unsafe camp except by the bible's clear teachings on confirming our election. The habitual sinner who makes a practice of their craft is damned, but those who make a practice of righteousness and repent of their sins will inherit eternal life (1 John, really the whole thing).
Not "will be", but even is "already" [John 3:18 KJB]It seems that you have the answer to your question. A man without Christ is lost and will be condemned.
If a man dies denying Christ, can we be certain of his fate or not?
