It is "how" the so called continuation of those gifts that is of concern. Believers were told to not believe every spirit but test them where in that, if you already have the Holy Spirit in you by faith since you had come to and believed in Jesus Christ, then you have to know that the spirit coming over you, filling you "again" and thus giving you tongues that comes with no interpretation or some other sensational sign in the flesh, that is not the Holy Spirit coming over you "again". 1 John 4:1-6 That is the spirit of the anti-christ because there is no receiving Jesus again; 2 Corinthians 11:1-4 & 1 Timothy 4:1-2 & Isaiah 8:19
