What Is Huckabee Up To?

Mike Huckabee is up to something. Visit his website and see what I mean.

There is a countdown going on, but to what? Nobody seems to know. However I do find it interesting that his "logo" is very simular to McCain's. Maybe I am reading too much into the star, but it sure is interesting.

He is probably going to annouce that after special secret talks with KenH he is now decided to become a Libertarian that supports Obama.:tonofbricks:

I guess that you've got to get in line with all the movers and shakers of society if you want to move from one extreme to the other like KenH has.

I think he's waiting for McCain to croak so he can walk into the R nomination. Maybe there is something sinister going on...

He's probably going to announce that Kenh is flipping parties once again and will now support him vehemently due to his change in foreign policy

Imagine the irony if McCain were to pass away on that day. Huckabee would never see the light of day again :)

Huckabee Website Countdown Under Way
from World Net Daily:
Former Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has an announcement coming – very soon.
You can find out exactly when that announcement will be made by going to his new website – MikeHuckabee.com. And that’s all you will find out.
Even those close to the former Arkansas governor swear they know nothing of the details.
Will it just be a website where Huckabee blogs?
Will it be a joke site?
Will he be announcing a new career as a talk-show host or pundit?
Or will be tell the world he is going to be John McCain’s running mate?
Huckabee has kept a low profile since conceding defeat to Sen. McCain last month.
The countdown ends on April 15, the deadline to file U.S. income tax returns. Huckabee is known for his support of the FairTax, and has said he wants to do away with the income tax as well as the Internal Revenue Service.

Wouldn't it be great if all of this attention is on this site...and it turns out to be a big cyber-tract of the Gospel?

It's better to move than to stay stuck in the Bush administration mud.

I think that my former governor will be trading in his electric bass guitar for a doghouse bass and starting a bluegrass band. :)

Maybe he's going to announce that Oprah will be Obama's running mate??? They make a good pair and Oprah has already thrown her support to him.

Am I crazy for thinking that it is within the realm of possibility that Obama is capable of picking a running mate from the Republican party? I'm not saying it would happen because it would probably be a bad popularity move for the Republican, but wouldn't that be in line with Obama's rhetoric?

On a historical note, has the VP ever come from a different party from the Pres candidate in a ticket?

I don't think it has since Lincoln picked Johnson. I don't think Johnson was a Republican, but I am speaking without verifying. I think he might have been a "Constitutional Unionist" or something like that?

Should probably google this before I make a fool of myself :)
