What is not evangelism?

Ray Comfort has evangelized to thousands and passed out 40,000 tracts. He has not planted a church but has been faithful to the commission. How many have come to saving faith? A few that I am aware of but not a large number..

So you are admitting that Ray is only completing 1/3 of the Great Commission - and as stated before - 33% is a failure.

Remember my church does not do this so I am on my own.

Then maybe it is time to find a new church.

Rev, Tom, et al -- y'all have pretty much exhausted Proverbs 26:5. Might I suggest Proverbs 26:4?

I think you may be right. If he had a teachable spirit I might continue but it is obvious there is no desire to learn, so it is best to leave it alone and let God handle him. :(

I got thinking a bit - Are you familiar with Jack Hyles? He was well know for leading thousands to Christ. He would constantly go back to homes until people were saved.
However, I have also read that many people simply gave a profession of Faith just to appease Hyles - so he would go away.

I wonder how many false professions were made to get Ray Comfort off their back.

And along with T Cassisidy - I bid this thread farewell.

Just read the prayer letter of my friend Dr. T. in an 86% Muslim country. They've started their 10th branch church. No place in America has anywhere near the difficulty as this place. Yet God is working mightily.

The problem with that is that after 8 years he would be the only one attending. :D

Actually found one Sunday while out witnessing in Denver. They are Calvinist and also have struggled making disciples in DT Denver. My friend and I will join them for street evangelism once a month or so. Was about 20 people out with them yesterday.
