So the greater portion of this board is aged 40 to 70??

If there is any offense in this statement, it is to myself primarily, but....
I wish I were 2 or 3 decades younger, as I'm sure I would have better things to be doing than reading and posting on boards like this.

As of a few years ago, I am officially "ancient". You see, when I was very young, my mom took me to visit Aunt Ivy, who was my great-aunt. Aunt Ivy (as well as all other great-aunts and great-uncles) was "ancient" in my young eyes. Then my nephew and my niece both had kids (now teenagers!!! YIKES), and I became a great-uncle. Therefore, I must be ancient!

Of course, I have also often told people I am 2 -- 2 old, that is!

Real age? 57, and loving it.

BTW, Dear Wife is NOT ancient!!! Nobody better say anything about that either. She is a very young 50-something. Nearly 60-something. Never been more beautiful, either! I better quit before I get into MORE trouble then I am in now.

Hey SaggyWoman, I was just curious about your choice of age brackets. Some of those numbers appear quite random. Is there any particular reason you chose them?

No, there was not particular reason for my choice, but just pretty random.

To some extent, I kind of new the age range of folks at the Baptist Board (though not everyone answers polls...) I really felt that there was not a strong insurgence of under 40's here... The amazing bell curve of those 49 (at this posting) of who answered reflects that as well.

If she was asked this question my grandma would say, "as old as my tongue and a little older than my teeth ".

I am 58 this year. Haven't celebrated a birthday in decades, family knows better then to bring it up either. Can't see celebrating getting older.

Older than last weeks meatloaf. Younger than Fred Astaire.

You know, Fred Astaire was born in 1899. Maybe you'd better pick a younger famous person to end that range with. Ha!!!

(Unless you are over 100 years old, that is. )

Just kidding. :flower:

Ok that tears it, you need to feature more singles get-togethers and maybe some hip-hop. Da T.R.U.T.H.
