Brother, God blesses this sinful world constantly, showing his great mercy, sending his rain on the just and the unjust. If God were to remove his blessings even for a moment, none would survive.By God's grace, my wife and I are in a better situation than many to cope with this situation. We are retired (I am 68 and she is 67), have ample finances, in relatively good health, and have a big enough piece of property to keep us busy. I am counting our blessings.
However, thinking of so, so many others who are in dire straits, is vexing. While I do not expect God to bless this sinful world, I pray He will pour out a special blessing on His elect.
We are stuck in Odessa, Ukraine, in a hotel where we are the only guests. At 16 dollars a night it is not too bad. So far still able to walk to the grocery store. Lots of people now wearing masks. No buses or trains can leave the city so we are here for a while.Choose the best single answer

Poll closes next Sunday, and perhaps another one may start to see how things change.
Being in an otherwise empty hotel may not be too bad. It sounds like they are taking it seriously there. Travel is precisely what has spread the virus far and wide. Are they preventing buses and trains both directions, or just those leaving the city?We are stuck in Odessa, Ukraine, in a hotel where we are the only guests. At 16 dollars a night it is not too bad. I was wondering how you'd been doing. Glad to hear you're weathering the storm so far.We are stuck in Odessa, Ukraine, in a hotel where we are the only guests. Left Erbil just as things were getting crazy. Stuck in Kuwait now, as everybody in Centcom is basically huddling in place.

There are worse places to be than here in Odessa. No reported cases here in the south Ukraine. Kiev and Lvov too I think are hit bad. So trying to keep cities sealed seems like a good thing. It may be we can fly out to a few places but the price would be really high. Cannot afford it.
We had a layover in Kuwait a couple years back. Actually wouldnt mind going there some time in the future.
