What is your response to the virus situation?

You’re in a country where not only are people all white, but they are all the same shade of white. You are also in the town in the off-season. Unless you take a train, you’re more likely to be shot down by a Russian missile on your way out of Ukraine than to be killed by Covid19

So far everyone around here remains neighborly, maybe even more so than usual. The worse so far is the run on the grocery stores which shortages should be temporary.

I go to town nearly everyday to check on Dad and take him food and do other duties that a family gopher does. Everyone from Church is in good shape, my wife runs a school system food bank so she's in town as needed too.

I was just kidding after seeing the photo of the Mormons.

By God's grace, my wife and I are in a better situation than many to cope with this situation. We are retired (I am 68 and she is 67), have ample finances, in relatively good health, and have a big enough piece of property to keep us busy. I am counting our blessings.

However, thinking of so, so many others who are in dire straits, is vexing. While I do not expect God to bless this sinful world, I pray He will pour out a special blessing on His elect.

My wife and I am also retired and well off financially. I am just as concerned about the financial aspects of this virus as the virus itself. A worse case scenario is that many countries will go into a depression. The U S is a possibility if people keep pulling money from the stock market while losing jobs.
Notice the panic. Then imagine the panic that will happen during the 7 year tribulation period. Our current situation is just a trial run for what is coming for those left behind after the rapture. Pray that God will intervene and turn this virus around. I am reminded that God made a promise in the Bible: He will bless those who bless Israel. He will curse those who curse Israel. America has blessed Israel more than any country in the world. Trump has blessed Israel more than any President. God will keep his promise. But, we may suffer tremendously. We have killed millions of innocent babies. That is worrisome to me.
