For iced tea I prefer Lousianne with a cup and a half to two cups of sugar per gallon (it's called sweet tea for a reason ;)). I make mine in a gallon jar, three family tea bags in the hottest water from the tap and let it sit for an hour or two.

My wife has to have decaf (which is what we keep in the house), but I prefer it to have a kick.

I am nuts over hot chai black tea. I haven't settled on a specific brand yet, but the last I had was Lipton. My daughter got me started on it. I don't buy it very often, but I love it when I have it. :D

It works with just hot water from the tap and not boiling water? Do you put the sugar in at the same time as the tea bags?

Me, too!

The interesting thing is that I'm British on my mother's side and don't like tea. She drank it all the time.
