There’s more than 31 flavors of Baptists.I was in one church - after a member joined - the pastor realized that he believed that the rapture happened in AD 70. He was also a SS teacher!

I agree. Read the Statement of Faith. A red flag for me is a church website that doesn't share a clear statement of faith. I wonder what they are attempting to hide or are they hoping to remain so generic that theology is not an issue? In either case, no statement of faith is a big statement of a church that has abandoned theology in the attempt to be "relevant."What makes a Baptist a Baptist?
