Repent of what? Paul told jailer to believe in the Lord Jesus and be saved!because this means that the sinners does not need to "repent" first, and "convistion" has been made equivalent with "salvation"

The Holy Spirit is the motivatior of Conviction. Conviction is the motivator of repentance. Sure regret and shame bring guilt and sorrow This is what conviction is about. Making us all realize we have sinned against God turning us towards God to be forgiven if we are willing. No sorrow and guilt?
Only Calvinist claim this as the doctrine of others. That is; saving one's self. I've never made that claim. Yet I'm accused of it by you quite often. no one is saved by force.Which would mean realizing that I cannot save myself by what I do!
To repent in order to be forgiven sounds like a "work" we must do in order to be saved. Scripture is very clear on salvation by faith alone. Please explain, as I must be missing something. The Bible says that repentance is FOR forgiveness of sins and therefore has to come before salvation. Both Luke and Acts is very clear on this

Those two passages have already been addressed with you. Do you have more than a couple sentences, out of context, to assist your argument?what did Jesus say in Luke 24:47? and Peter in Acts 2:37-38? lets keep to these two for the present. I would like to know what you think that these passages mean.

We cannot do that ourselves, as it takes the working of the Holy Spirit Himself! To repent in order to be forgiven sounds like a "work" we must do in order to be saved. Scripture is very clear on salvation by faith alone. Please explain, as I must be missing something.
Well, none will be justified by the Law, so what is left?Show from Scripture where it says that salvation is by faith alone

None can decide apart from the working of the Holy Spirit!Only Calvinist claim this as the doctrine of others. That is; saving one's self. I've never made that claim. Yet I'm accused of it by you quite often. no one is saved by force.
2Co_8:12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.
