Well, you can interpret it your way. I think it's clear from the context.

2pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
2pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any [of us] should perish, but that all [of us] should come to repentance.
And non calvinists are accused of being "Scripture twisters"? :BangHead:

I believe that is the logical conclusion of that verse. Seems obvious to me.
If you want to believe He is not willing the same way He is not willing that any should murder....ok, I disagree but it does not change the doctrine of predestination.

If your interpretation contradicts other passages, something is wrong.
Predestination is CLEARLY taught in other passages. This passage only reinforces that.

Whosoever, any and all stem from that.

Sure. Ignore the immediate context and pull out some verses from another book. That's a good interpretive technique.

I'll just quote Dale C...

If your interpretation contradicts other passages, something is wrong.

1. Whosoever believeth
2. Any that believe
3. All who believe

Whosoever, any, and all are not universal. They only apply to believers!
