Christ as Saviour Gives Repentance to the elect, thats what a Saviour from sin does Acts 5:31

31 Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins.

He also gave them forgiveness of sins, thats Salvation also

If I came over to your place and seen you working on your tractor, and there was part gone bad and it would take months to get it, say I have a similar tractor, and have that part in my tool room.

I give you that part as a gift, but why did I give you that gift?

To allow you to get your tractor going so you get to work.

The same is true with repentance, God offers you the gift for you to get your salvation nailed down.

You're a Calvinist, you understand total depravity, what it means.

If God didn't come to you through the hearing of the Gospel and make Jesus Christ real in the heart of man, there is no hope.

He gives us hope to escape the wrath to come through repenting and believing in His Son.

There is no example in all of Scripture of what you're teaching, you are simply misunderstanding God's way of salvation.
Gods command to repent is given to them He has saved and has gave repentance, which command causes them to repent. Ps 33:8-9

8 Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

9 For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.

You dont realize or know about Gods word of command

Its no offer, God gives repentance which causes repentance.

You are making things way to complicated for BF to understand. He needs God to determine who, meaning him, will be saved because God picked him our B4 creation, gives him the faith believe after he had been saved at creation and even causes him to repent of sins that actually have no consequence for him as he had already been saved B4 creation.

He just has to hope that his non-biblical religion will be accepted by God at judgement.

That is a total fabrication, turning the Word of God into a lie.

You can't show me an actual example in Acts where God repents for them, where they are forced to repent.

But I can show you several examples in Acts where they are told to repent on their own part.

His whole concept of salvation must be aborted to understand the truth.

I can only see that happening by an act of God!

Now you reject the power of Gods command, thats a pity. 2 Cor 4:5-6

5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

One can have the knowledge of God and still reject the salvation of God.

Rom 1:16 says the gospel is the power of God for salvation. Are you saying that everyone that hears the gospel is saved?

God's command is calling for repentance, not tapping you on the shoulder and it's done!

When religionist make faith or repentance or anything else for that matter conditions man must meet in order to get saved or justified before God they are introducing a law principle in Justification. When they present anything as a condition to do to get saved, in which if they dont do it, there is the threat of punishment, but if you do do it there is the promise of reward, eternal life, that's a law principle, the same as under the mosaic law, do and live Lev 18:5

Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the Lord.

They're under the principle of Gal 3:10

10For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

You rejecting the Power of Gods command, now 2 Cor 4:6

God commands the Light of the Gospel to shine l into the hearts of the elect so they believe it. Rom 1:16 supports that

Again now you reject the power of Gods command, if God commands individuals to repent, then repent they shall. 2 Cor 4:6

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

So Gods commanding men everywhere to repent Acts 17:30

30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Then guess what ? They will repent, He gives them repentance causing them to repent upon His commanding.

Now to say men can resist or disobey Gods command is like saying, when God commandeth the Light to shine out of darkness, "let there be light" light could have disobeyed His command ! Do you believe that ?

So you say that they will repent, ALL MEN EVERYWHERE?

Keep trying BF, I like a good laugh, it's good for the soul.

BF you missed what both verses are telling us.

God commanded the light of Jesus, the gospel, to shine forth which it has. And the light, the truth, shines in the heart of those that have trusted in Him.

While the gospel is the power for salvation, it is only effective if the person hearing it responds in faith.

You are reading into the text what your religion requires for you to support that view.

Yeah every man He has given repentance to. He has not given all men without exception repentance so He doesnt command them to repent, He created them for hell and destruction

If you can define "all men everywhere" as a selected number of people, then drive on with this nonsense.

Yeah, the all men everywhere are the elect, anyone with bible understanding knows this. BTW whenever you run and get a verse as it pertains to the world, All, Everyone etc, in Salvation, it only applies to the elect, the rest of mankind belong to the devil, the children of devil, his seed destined to hell.

That must be a quote from the Calvinist Code.

All is not All, as in the word "All."
