How did this thread degenerate into a discussion on prefered beverages ?
This , I thought was going to be food for thought for us , like how everyday situations can remind us of Gods word. This is the important part of the OP:-

I love relaxing with a nice mug of the hot stuff. I only drink decaf, though. But guess what!! We ran out too!! I have been having to drink some low carb instant cappuccino stuff.

 

Tater, ouch, that low carb stuff isnt that good from my experience.

 

A mom who must be able to get at all hours of the night,MUST HAVE COFFEE.. or the world may stop turning while we have a fit...maybe I'm a bit extreme, but a day without coffee for me is like asking for trouble.

 

I never drank coffee until I became a police fire EMS 911 dispatcher....now I drink 2 cups a day, which is my limit. I drown it in Vanlla Caramel creamer to the point that it is better tasting than a Starbucks creation.

 

As for being prepared,there are days I'd say AMEN, yes I am prepared. My ducks are in a neat row.

THEN there are days I trip over the smallest roadblock and can'tm seem line up a decent thought much less get my ducks in the same pond to say I'm properly prepared.

God knew we'd have days like this and he knows the pull of the flesh is strong.
I'm so humbled and grateful we receive mercy.


But I STILL have to have coffee..

 

I REALLY need to go to WalMArt and get some coffee!! Thought about going over the church to borrow some...

Well, I'll try no to freak out. But we are taking a college student out for lunch in a little while, and I know I'll have coffee with my lunch and hopefully stop for some grounds on the way home!

One of my sons says (not Superdave or Brownof)says how could something that smells to good taste so bad. Me....I can't stand the stuff. It must be like booze, you have to develop a taste for it. Besides I was always afraid it would stunt my growth. And look, I grew up to be 6'4" without it.

 

Like with spinach and squash.

 

Hi, Jim. Just down the road from you in sunny Pasadena. Sadly, it seems the cost of oil is too high for some. although it has been fully paid for. Of course, since only a little was needed, it cannot be considered a sacrafice on our part, yet, the foolish virgins still failed to prepare.
