What now for Officer Wilson?

What will the future hold for this family man who was only doing his job? He has been vindicated by the courts, but still held accountable and guilty in the court of public opinion, and regardless of this court decision, would any of you want to walk in his shoes for even an hour?

Sure he was found innocent of anything and everything, other than being a white cp in the wrong place at the wrong time, and now where will he go? Where will he and his family find safety, and where will this man find the opportunity to return to his career in law enforcement?

The court of public opinion, led by racism and racist issues has ruined his life, and the life of his family. And that is the tragedy. It isn't as if Officer Wilson spent every day on the force, looking for a black person to gun down. Nevertheless, in the eyes of many who still claim, they are under the white rule of slavery and have been so for 400 years, he will always be the evil, racist white cop that killed a defenseless black teen, and then let his body lay on the street for four hours (which was definitely wrong).

First. Congratulations to the grand jury for not giving in to the pressure and putting an innocent man on trial...ala George Zimmerman.

Second, there's still a better than 50/50 chance the Injustice Department will try to nail him for some trumped up civil rights charge.

No matter what, Officer Wilson's career as a law enforcement officer is pretty well over. At least in Ferguson. If the protestors are unsuccessful in their wish to make him dead, they have still destroyed the life of a good civil servant.

Shame on all of them.

Midland, Texas is in dire need of police officers. If I was in charge of recruiting there, I would give Officer Wilson a call.

IMO, this appeared to be an abuse of the justice system by the prosecutor.

He OBVIOUSLY didn't want an indictment so that this would go to trial. That's perhaps why he punted to the grand jury and got them to do what a trial jury is supposed to do.

The purpose of a grand jury is to find probable cause for an indictment so that a trial may/may not be held.

They say "you can prosecute a ham sandwich" for a reason.

If you WANT to prosecute, you only present information that will lead the grand jury to believe that there is enough evidence to warrant further investigation and determination via a jury trial.

You do not place ALL of the evidence before them because included in ALL the evidence is information that may convince them to not prosecute.

Prosecutors set themselves up to be able to prosecute. They only cut their legs out from under themselves when they don't want to prosecute.

Now here's the kicker. If a grand jury can spend two months going through evidence, then there OBVIOUSLY is enough evidence available to warrant sending it to trial and letting a jury decide.

Supposedly the family is now considering civil charges.
