Oh, one more thing: I don't want this to become a debate, there are plenty of other threads for that!

I'm halfway between 3 and 4, so I voted 4.

0 for me. I no longer prefer the KJV and certainly do not think the underlying Greek/Latin of 'Rasmus is superior to the totality of documents now available.

THAT makes me a "0" KJVonly and THAT makes me feel good!!

Ditto Dr.Bob's statement here.

My wife has always said that I was of the scale...

The NBV a new ecumenical translation that recently got presented to her majesty the queen.

The Statenvertaling of 1637 the Dutch AV.

The NBG Vertaling of 1951, untill recently the default Protestant Bible in my country.

The Willibrord Bible, the official RC translation of the Netherlands and Flemish speaking Belgium.

The Groot Nieuws Bijbel similar to Good News for Modern Man.

The Jehovah's have ofcourse translated their own Bible from English into Dutch.

Sure. The JW's Bible version is rather atrocious, but the first 4 I mentioned are all first rate translations (even if one disagrees with the theological hangups some of their translators must have had).

I have a problem finding myself on the scale as well.

I would probably be best described as a qualified 2.5 because of the statement
They believe that the King James Version, based on this text, is the clearest and most accurate translation that we have in English today.
Because of my affinity towards the TR, I would say that the New King James Version "is the clearest and most accurate translation that we have in English today".

While the NASB based upon the critical text is generally a superior translation in many passages to the NKJV, the TR is the underlying text of the NKJV, so I would go with the NKJV.

What? No number 10? That leaves me out! What is a Number 10 you want to know?
A Number 10 is anywhere on the scale at any given time but most definitely would never at any given time stand with a guy who wears a bowtie.
