Mr. Begg is a Reformed Baptist . I had the pleasure of hearing him at 10th Presbyterian in Philly about 10 years ago .

Vernon McGee started out as Presbyterian, until the liberals became prominent. Listen more closely to his teachings, I think you'll be surprised.
I like Donald Barnhouse also...
But I am a little prejudiced here.

I read somewhere that Kennedy was saved while listening to Barnhouse on the radio? I believe this is true?

I like Boice, Begg, Kennedy, Paisley,Barnhouse

My mother took me to a Presb. church until my dad got saved. His grandmother that used to take him to Sunday school was a SB. That is how we became baptist as a family. I will never forget Pastor Parks at the Pres. ch. He ministered greatly to my mother who faithfully came to church with her son age 6 and her daughter 4 without her unsaved husband.
I later got saved in the SB church. Went to a IFB dispensational, Bible college.
Such is the providence of God.

Sometimes I think about what it would have been like to have been a conservative Presby.?

ShannonL, speaking of conservative Presby's, I don't think anyone has mentioned Carl McIntire, founder of the Bible Presbyterians. Very conservative, very fundamental, a great anti-communist, and had a famous debate against M. O'Hare of atheists fame. Check him out here.

J.D.,

My wife's granddad just died at 88. He was a old school IFB. He used to talk about Carl Mcintire all the time.
