What Purpose For The Church To Go thru Great Tribulation period?

Since the Bible refers to it being the 'Time of Jacobs troubles/Day of the Lord" times when isreal will be attacked/purged/cleansed by the Lord, and also time when God judges/destroys the kingdoms of man, politically, economically, spiritually etc

What reason for the Church to "endure" it than?
