"What right do they have to pick and choose what part of government gets funded?"

I support democracy.
You do as long as you get your way. When you don't, you gripe. I've seen your type on here champion the cause of socialism -- perhaps without even knowing it, though I'm pretty sure you do -- just because it is proposed by the Democrats. I haven't even been a member that long, and am both amazed by the gullibility and disgusted by the lack of understanding.

In brief, you seem to advocate having no government at all (anarchy). You say that "Your first mistake is believing the constitution was written so that government could effectively rule us." What then is the guideline by which we are governed? I support democracy.

The guideline is the constitution. It's not anarchy to believe that we do not need government intervention into every aspect of our lives.

This http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=89357 is what you can expect from a big brother authoritarian corporatist government that you have somehow convinced yourself is a "democracy". Happy landing, yo.

You give him (or her) too much credit. He (or she) knowingly posts lies and propaganda.

It has no idea about reality and certainly doesn't understand Christianity. Jesus did not preach hate as it does.
