What Rush has to say

There are some policies that would be a blatant violation of Scripture. If an employee was required to wear t-shirts that read, "Not even God could make a better product", if required to wear that, I would have to opt for the permanent vacation.

This got me thinking about Rush Limbaugh

His slogan is "With talent on loan from God"

I was wondering if that phrae offends anyone?

I'm not offended. I'm pleased that Rush is not ashamed to mention God as the source of his talent. Rush has a spiritual component to his life, but doesn't wear it on his sleeve.

I couldn't care what Rush has to say. He's a pagan who wears the Church as a cloak when he needs it.

What makes you think he is a pagan.
I did find something that he grew up Methodist - but does not currently attend church.

could be the same reason he does not attend movies

Rush Limbaugh is an utterly useless blowhard, and no... I am not offended by his little comment he says.

The seemingly flippant use of Our Lord's name has always made me cringe.
I have no use for Rush Limbaugh. He makes money off conservative issues, and using the name of the Lord, and lives like a slob. The best way to deal with him is the off switch. If everyone would do that, his program would stop.

Don't hold back everyone, say what you really feel about Rush. Yes, he's arrogant and full of himself, but doesn't deserve the names you all say of him. He makes liberals squirm in their seats and that's good enough for me. Like Christ shinning light on an evil world, Rush also shines or should I say exposes much of what is evil from our lefty politicians. Good for him. And no I'm not offended by his God statement. I'm more offended by Obama saying "God bless Planned Parenthood".

Yea I do not get all the hub bub about Rush. It is most likely that those who want to criticize him the most have likely never really listened to him extensively.

There are better ways of making liberals squirm than mocking God's name and living like an out of control animal, while promoting conservative values and morality.

Here is a good example, one of thousands. This Republican veteran, who did serve, unlike Rush, destroys him. Maybe he had too much oxycontin for breakfast. It just goes to show you Rush does not care about conservative values, the Constitution, or liberty and freedom. He cares about his ratings and bank account to keep up his multi-vices.

Are we to believe that his talent for marriage, divorce, remarriage is from God? He's on his fourth marriage and his latest bride is 36 years old; Rush is 62.

Was his addiction to drugs a talent from God?

Yes, it offends me.

Rush is a political conservative as are a lot of us on BB. Unfortunately, that is often all we care about is the political persuasion. Like Neal Boortz used to say, they are on for entertainment and ratings.

A man is known by his fruit. He lives a life void of fruit. I could care less if he and I agree on politics, politics is pointless when considering the moral and Christianly life of another.

The truest thing RL ever said was during the whole Air America / fairness doctrine era: he said "I am entertainment."

that's right. he's not news. he's not a presenter of the most solid facts. he is entertainment. then he talked about how many years he worked to make and develop his market.

OK. the point: he was right---he is entertainment. Nothing more. Nothing less.

You post this video clip and side with Young Turks. I think you show your true colors. I'll stick with the conservatives.
