If that's referring to me, I figured it out long ago. The Dem Progressive Left is unhinged, deranged, and violently against anyone who doesn't agree with them.

Jess is in agreement with them and realizes their dangerous nature, so is understandably trying to avoid suffering the fate of "friendly fire." It's just nice to see someone admit it.

But Jess's dumb Dem dilemma (which was liked by thousands) is inherently humorous and useful. She is saying the masks distinguished her from Reps, as though all Reps went maskless.

Meanwhile, though I'm not a Rep, I wore a mask so I could spy on Dem supporters. Turns out a lot of them were actually Rep supporters.
