You can't be serious, I hope. :( </font>
Why not? Why is the idea of Jesus having normal human feelings in any way heretical? It ain't. It's quite possible, and probable, if he were fully human, that as he was qrowing up, he might have had a crush on the local schoolgirl. Puppy love is not a sin, not lustful, not temptation, and does not compromise Jesus' divinity, imo. Please provide biblical support as to why that is heretical.

    Of course, the Bible omits everything between the ages of 12 and 30, so we simply don't know, and in the big picture, it's irrelevant to the message in the NT.

    J.R. Church's mythology is truly certifiable. Good for a laugh . . but not serious scholarship. [IMG]

    Yeah, and it was a very bad joke at that!

    They don't read the Bible because it takes too much effort. People prefer tabloid sensationalism. Did you ever notice the folks buying the tabloids making the wildest claims at the supermarket? It's the same kind of thing.

    Well, Joseph, too bad you are so quick to dismiss some things as tripe.

    Pastor Church may have set some dates for future events (which were wrong), but that doesn't invalidate the fact that some of the Psalms are prophetic.
    </font>
Deut. 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

    (sigh) I suppose some things are way too deep for some people to grasp, especially if they don't fit into a preconceived notion.
It's not about a preconceived notion except on Mr. Church's part. This just doesn't square with Scripture. It's like the Bible codes business.

    Sounds like supposition and guesswork to me. This is a fantasy world. What do you really know about Mr. Church? Do you know him? Have you read his books? Do you know his ministry.

    What's the difference?

    Yes, I have his book on the Holy Grail.

    Have you read his books?

    Do you personally know him?

    Do you personally know anything about his ministry?

    That's what I thought.

    Yes. I have read his book, "Prophecy in the Psalms" and I can honestly say, I believe he is a real kook. On top of that he is a false prophet whose false theology should be avoided.
