The article's writer states that no one is allowed to be poor in Denmark-----bah!!!!

What did Jesus have to say about being poor??

The poor you will have always with you!!

Nope----no plans for me to make a hasty move to Denmark---the only thing smelly from there is ------ fish!!!

A brilliant empire to copy, Denmark is not!!

Let's make sure we understand a primary foundation of what has been posted: Senator Bernie Sanders, getting information from the ambassador.

Do either of these people actually walk/live among the poor in Denmark?

A quick search will bring up information that's somewhat contrary to what Mr. Sanders published....

http://cphpost.dk/news/poverty-on-the-rise-throughout-denmark.2832.html

http://www.oecdbetterlifeindex.org/countries/denmark/ (look for the summary on the right underneath the picture)

Suffice to say, it's easy for our politicians to see that other countries are doing better, when those countries spent so many centuries under a mindset of how to treat a "higher class citizen" or "royalty", and due to this mindset, treat our visiting politicians (that are comparable to royalty in their mindset) with a greater regard than you or I.

Try doing the age-old story thing: Take off your suit, Bernie. Put on some jeans, and live with the people for a while, as one of them. Then let's hear about Denmark not having any poverty, or how well-off they are compared to us.

Which is only said by extreme far left liberals who despise some or all of America's founding.

If this helps you sleep at night, but there are parts of our founding that are pretty despicable. Not unusual, lots of nations have despicable aspects in their history, part of dealing with fallen humanity. We've overcome much of that history, but there is still more work to do. Fortunately, great strides in the past mean we can make great strides in the future. No need to run from our past or make it something it never was, that actually makes great strides more difficult.

There is something rotten in the state of Denmark.

For one thing, like all Europeans and socialists (even Senators from Vermont), they allow the USA to provide their defense budget for them.

Literally everything you just said in that sentence is blatantly untrue.
