I post my views to let the reader decide which view is more biblical. I know I can change no one's mind. But I want my view to be clearly understood and not misrepresented as some on here have misrepresented mine.

But that list is true. Most people have closed minds, both Cals and Arms.

Oh ....I ihave not seen that so much. I think that many would want to make sure the arminian type person has heard a clear presentation of the 5 pts before they reject it for a caricature which is the normal posting.

Here is a short list of what never changes (imo) about the BB. This list starts with threads that really never seem to change the perspective of anyone, and eventually are turned off by the moderators or die from no longer folks desire to contend.

Perhaps you have other items to add to the list?

Here are some that I came up with to start:

1) Threads about intoxicants which change no ones mind

2) Threads about Cal and Arm which change no ones mind

3) Threads about morally frail or fallen which change no ones mind

4) Threads about politics which change no ones mind

5) Threads about covenant versus dispensation which changes no ones mind

6) Threads about how a person is redeemed which changes no ones mind

7) Threads about versions of the Scriptures which changes no ones mind

8) Threads about threads in which changes no ones mind.:type:

I would not say that the categories you listed changes no ones mind. It is true that you seldom see a change of mind in the thread itself. Changes of position take time. I can tell you that I abandoned dispensationalism because of a thread on another board. That thread lead to serious study on my part. It culminated with a change in my view. I know Arminians who changed their view because of a message board conversation.

One of the things I always keep in mind is that the audience of a thread is often much larger than the participants. Many people are lurkers. They read the threads but do not post. I used to be like that years ago on another board. I read the threads with great interest but never participated.

You never know who is reading.
